This creative ministries seminar is a one day event that teaches several different ways to
reach others for Christ. Please check the tentitive schedule below to see a description of what is offered.
8:30 ~ Registration Opens
9:00 ~ Opening
9:15 ~ Gospel Magic ~ This is a fantastic tool
to teach with. Many people are interested in magic so it makes a great "hook" to get your audience interested in what you
have to say. As you know, half the the battle is getting people to listen to what you have to say. Anybody
who has ever had a room full of children knows exactly what I'm talking about.
You will learn how to present simple gospel magic tricks to present Bible truths
to others. We will make gospel tricks right in the class that you'll be able to use when you go back to your own ministries.
I will also show you how to make other tricks from materials that you probably have in your own home. Everything taught
is extremely easy to do yet looks incredible to your audience. Gospel magic is a wonderful teaching tool that you
will learn to use for the furthering of the Gospel...
10:00 ~ Break Time
10:15 ~ Story Telling ~ Did you know that Jesus used this
very ministry in his outreach? He called the stories "parables". Watch, as Kathleen and Dave
show you how to use all kinds of hilarious props and costumes to tell stories your audience will remember.
You'll learn all ablut Abalard, a sheep that finds out that the grass is not always
greener on the other side of the fence. You will also meet Albert, the "skrawny" turkey who leans that you
can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. You will learn how to create your own stories that teach
important Bible truths...
11:00 ~ Simple Pupperty ~ Did you know that you can use
puppets without a puppet stage? In fact, there are several different ways to employ puppets that work better without a stage.
During this sesssion we'll demonstrate how to use puppets as partners in your ministry to reach children and adults.
12:00 ~ Lunch Break (if host church is providing lunch) This will
be adjusted if we need to allow time for people to go to local eaterys.
1:00 ~ Clowning ~ Gospel clowning is a great tool because
people just love clowns. People know when they see a clown that something fun and interesting is going to happen. This is
great because people lose many of their inhabitions and just play along.
The first part of this session is spent watching Kathleen become a clown right before your
very eyes. She puts on all that "icky, yucky" make-up so you can see what it really takes. Don't worry though, you don't have
to go to the extremes that she does to use clowning as a tool to reach others for Christ.
The second part of this session you become a clown. We will break up into stations
and learn how to juggle, make balloon animals, costuming and how to apply make-up that comes off easily with soap
and water. Kathleen will show you how to create your own clown character. The great thing about this session is that even
if you decide clowning is not for you, you'll still learn some great things you can do without all the make-up.
2:30 ~ Balloon Animals ~ People love these
balloon anmals. We're going to show you how to use these crazy creations to share God's love with others. Kathleen and Dave
will show you how to make your own balloon animals and the how to use them as an outreach tool.
You'll see a great way to visibly demonstarte the armor of God. Using balloon creations to
create the mental picture that will help others to remember how to use the armor the way God intended. Dave will show you
how to use a balloon animal as a magic trick to teach people a great Bible truth that they will remember for a long time to
come.

Closing Challenge
The above schedule is just tentative it can be altered to meet you needs. We suggest that you invite
area churches and charge them a $10 to $20 registration fee. This will cover our basic fee of $250 + milage and expences
such as hotel to present this Creative Ministries Seminar. Once this basic fee of $250 + expences is met any
additional funds collected will be divided 50/50 your half being used towards merchandise or credit for future purchases.
